What can be edited #
Six fields, but who may edit which depends on the ID you registered with.

The pattern is consistent: anything Aadhaar supplies — your identity, date of birth and gender — is fixed at registration for Aadhaar users. Everything the application asks you to declare separately stays editable.

Treat the dates above as indicative of the shape of the cycle rather than the current calendar — they are the 2020 window. What holds is the sequence: apply, then correct, then admit card.
How to make a correction #
Log in, edit the permitted fields, pay any difference, and print the revised confirmation page.
- Log in to the NTA application portal with your application number and password.
- Open the correction form and edit only the fields shown as editable for your ID type.
- Pay any additional fee if a change moves you into a higher fee category.
- Print the revised confirmation page. The earlier copy is superseded.
